I was just in Bavaria, such a beautiful and enchanting part of Germany. Seeing this field bursting with flowers reminded me of the insightful mantra, the more flowers, the more flowers. The first time I heard this quote, it resonated so strongly that it instantly became one of my main catchphrases. Flowers are miracles of creation. Taking the time to watch one grow from seed or bulb to bloom can become an impactful life event if you let it. One flower in a field is pretty, but more flowers are prettier! It's easy to see how more flowers make more flowers.
In a culture that exalts competition and encourages "fighting" for your dreams, it is easy to forget that we live in an abundant universe. We are taught from a young age to behave out of fear, to smartly plan everything out for our future, to hold on tightly to what we own - in fact we are practically brainwashed into scarcity mentality by tv and media. (Click here to read a fun article about scarcity mentality.) Yet this kind of force, clenching, fear creates the exact opposite vibration that allows abundance to flow.
Perhaps it's due to my experience playing in bands and being a part of large productions like TSO and Moby, but to me it is much more fun, and beautiful, and fulfilling to collaborate with others, to share our unique gifts and ideas and talents, to take each other higher while enhancing the quality of what we are working towards. Why must we compete when we can work together and create more, better, and faster - and having more fun with each other in the process?! The more flowers, the more beauty, the more growth, the more butterflies, the more gleeful tourists laughing out loud unable to contain their delight in the epic glory of springtime in Bavaria!!! It certainly seems like a lot more fun this way. Anyone want to join?
May flowers flower around your every step and remind you to follow the fun in each precious moment!
Love always, and glowing golden and green Germany spring,
